 Description:  This is a very rare bone china plate to commemorate the achievements of W.G.Grace. The informative printed brown transfer has excellent clarity and definition, with further decoration being found in the moulded border.

 Size:  Diameter :  22.5cms

Condition: Immaculate, with one manufacturer’s scratch to rim.

Maker: Panorama Studios

Description:  This is a pottery mug made to commemorate a 100 years of Wimbledon.  There is reference to the Silver Jubilee year of Queen Elizabeth II.  The reverse is exceptionally interesting, recording the male and female singles champions since 1877.

 Size:  Rim diameter 10.5cms height 9.5cms

Maker:  Commemorative Pottery, commissioned by the Trades Union Congress.

 Description :This plate was made to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Tolpuddle Martyrs.  Feb.1984. (See reverse)  

The front black transfer is full of poignant detail showing the six labourers boarding the ship to begin to serve their seven years transportation.

 Size:  Diameter 26cms.

 Condition :Immaculate well defined and detailed transfer with the to be expected glaze cracking

Maker:  S.Radford. Staffordshire

 Description:  This is a pottery plate commemorating the Manchester Ship Canal Bill which gained royal assent on August 8th 1885. The central transfer portrait is that of Daniel Adamson.

The printed black reg.No. is 34001.

Size:  Diameter; 27cms. 

 Condition; A very  small rim imperfection caused in manufacture and under glaze, slight overall crazing commensurate with age, otherwise exceptionally good..

Maker:  Commemorative Pottery, commissioned by the Political Committee London Co-operative Society.

 Description:  This is a special edition tall pottery mug produced as a tribute to the women of the coalfields, (see reverse of item).  The front has a coloured scene outside a coalfield with the caption “Women in Action Miners Strike 1984/5.

 Size:  Rim diameter 8cms; height 11.75cms

 Condition :  two minute base rim nibbles otherwise immaculate.

Description:  National Graphical Association pottery mug.  This commemorates the workers at the N.G.A who in 1986-87 were working at the Sun and the News of the World and were refusing to move.
